Hiranya Varna Mahavihar

Bhaskerdev Samskarita Hiranyabarna Mahavihara (The Golden Temple/Kwa Bahal): Widely known as Kwa Bahal, it is one of the 18 main Bahals of Patan which is almost thousand years old. The Sanskrit name for the bahal is 'Bhaskerdev Samskarit Hiranyabarna Mahavihar’, and it is located in Kwalkhu Tole, north-west of Mangalbazaar. Famous for the Golden Temple inside the Bahal, it has been identified as one of the religious centers of the valley where religious practices have been preserved in their original form.
