Bank of Narayani River revived to a lively public space from a dumping site; Chitwan Festival organised in 2002 led to improvement of the area; in the leadership of the Ward Development Committee the cleaning campaign was initiated and Nepal Army, schools, colleges, non-governmental organisations, Federation of Commerce and Industry supported the event; positive response from the citizens to create this space; encouragement to the committee for providing better facilities in the area.
