Asha Dangol

Asha Dangol started working on his artistic skills from childhood. His mother was his main support, introducing him to Netra Raj Bajracharya, under whom he did his apprenticeship for 2 years before entering the Fine Arts Campus. Durning his college years he spent time with the fellow students touring Eastern Nepal and producing landscapes.

Dangol's first landscape painting was of Shova Bhagawati, situated near Swayambhunath Temple. Acrylics is the medium he uses which he sometimes mixed with media. His work mostly reflects and represents religion, meditation, self and surrounding environments. In his work one can find the influence of abstract, expressionism and modernism.
