Dev Pukhu:

One of the historical ponds in Kirtipur, Dev Pukhu: is said to have been built after cutting through the stone layers on which Kirtipur stands. Traditional offerings of buffalo’s head and leg are made to this pond on Gaijatra (cow festival), to provide meat to those denizens of Kirtipur, who cannot afford it themselves (SPACES Magazine).
