Naag Pokhari

Naag Pokhari Nag Pokhari lies on the eastern side of the erstwhile Royal Palace (now a museum) with a wooden pillar and the gilded snake head on top in the centre of the pond. The space is well maintained, with a small park surrounding the pond, and is enjoyed for its scenic beauty on the other days of the year. Its cultural significance can be observed during Nag Panchami (July/August), when devotees gather here to rever the snake god.
