Shashi Shah

Shashi Shah's paintings have horses as recurrent figure symbolising the Kalki  the tenth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. His works were showcased in numerous exhibitions held in India, Japan, Australia and Bangladesh. He was awarded the first prize in National Art Exhibition, NAFA, Kathmandu in1970. And in 1979, he was conferred Indra Rajya Laxmi Academy Award at Royal Nepal Academy, Kathmandu.

His participation was seen in various international exhibitions--Trinnale Exhibition in India, Nepali Paintings Exhibition at The Oriental Art Museum in Moscow and the Asian Art Show and the seminar at the Fukuoka Museum of Art in Fukuoka.

 Sashi Bikram Shah completed his Govt. Diploma in Arts from Sir J.J. School of Arts, Mumbai, India.
